The More Drama the Better

Black on black is one of the easiest ways to get out of the door fast! While I highly recommend this wardrobe “hack,” I also believe that no outfit is complete without a little bit of drama. This is even more crucial when you’re sporting an all black ensemble.

Drama comes in many forms. Maybe it is the bright red lipstick you’re rocking, or the Swarovski crystals around your neck. No matter what you call it, the more drama the better, especially when you’re dealing with black on black! This fab tube top is from Current Clothing (surprise, surprise), and I knew it was going to take a special pair of pants to do it justice. Can you imagine my excitement when I found these faux leather culottes from Zara?! Although the over-sized bow is loud enough, I was able to create more drama by mixing medias i.e., a faux leather textile. Thanks to The Red Chair Salon, I was able to take my bow-tiful ensemble one step further. Who knew a bow bun would only take a few squirts of hairspray, a couple of hair ties, and a handful of bobby pins?!

What can I say, I like big bows and I cannot lie…
